Previously, rapper Fish Scales of the group Nappy Roots was kidnapped outside his own restaurant and sustained a gunshot injury. Now, the 911 audio and police reports have revealed the scene the rapper was able to escape from.
Police noted Fish Scales was leaving his Atlantatucky brewery with his friend to get some food. When the friend was delayed for some time outside, the rapper went to check on him. Upon heading out, a gun was pointed at Fish Scales, with the robber demanding the rapper go back inside and get the cash.
Fish Scales’ friend Britt Robinson was still outside the restaurant when he called 911. According to police, Robinson told the cops the robbers took his gun and keys before they went after the rapper, screaming at him to open the safe inside the restaurant. Robinson claimed he saw the shooter on the phone during the stick-up, allegedly getting an idea of where the money was.
The robbers returned with the rapper and were pushing him to go and find more money. The men reportedly had Fish Scales’ address and put him in the car with demands of trying to enter his home. One of the suspects allegedly tasered Fish Scales in the head before the rapper attempted to flee. While trying to run, he got in a scuffle with one of the suspects and was shot in the calf.
The rapper told police he dealt with an employee who was disgruntled last year and said one of the suspects was trying to mask their voice. Listen above.
