Damon Dash recently spoke to Tony “The Closer” Robinson and was asked about Jay-Z and if he regretted anything about their situation. Dash responded candidly and said he didn’t expect to be “betrayed” by the rapper and mogul.
Dash responded to the question posed by saying, “Yeah, all that, but we were friends. How would you feel if your brother betrayed you for money? Would it hurt?... That's the algorithm. It wasn't surprising 'cause that's what always happens. It was surprising 'cause no one—that's what it was, we were breaking the algorithm, we were doing it a different way and sticking together, but that's what always happens. They make one sell out the other, their friend, divide and conquer, that's a normal story.”
The mogul said he didn’t expect the situation to turn out that way, as he and Jay-Z “never argued.” Dash went on to say “I didn't know it was coming. That was some real slick s**t. I was like, 'That n***a’s cold. He's cold. Name a good n***a that didn't get stabbed in the back.” Take a look above.
