The ongoing legal battle between Jay-Z and Damon Dash over the auctioning of Hov’s ‘Reasonable Doubt’ album has seemingly come to a close, as both parties have settled the NFT lawsuit.
Legal documents that surfaced showed Dash and Roc-A-Fella came to an agreement noting that Dash agrees only Roc-A-Fella has the rights to sell an NFT version of the album. The settlement said that the only thing Damon Dash can sell is his 1/3 ownership in Roc-A-Fella Records. The settlement also states that Damon Dash and Roc-A-Fella agree no individual shareholder can sell the album as an NFT, which means Jay-Z can’t sell one as well.
