Mass shootings have seen a historical rise in the United States, and now a shooting at the Mall of America in Minnesota has taken place. Among the people caught in the crowds fleeing from the fire was NASCAR champion Kyle Busch and his family.
Gunshots erupted at the Mall of America, causing people to hurry with their families towards the exit. In the footage, Busch, his wife Samantha, and their son could be seen running for the exit while he was on the phone. Following the shooting, Samantha Busch took to social media to give an update. “If you are seeing the news about the @mallofamerica we got out and are safe. Praying others inside are too,” said Busch.
Police confirmed the shooting and said the suspect fled the mall on foot. Stay tuned for more updates.
