It's been over two decades since a 15-year-old basketball prospect named LeBron James embarked on a record-setting stint as an athlete at St. Vincent–St. Mary High School in his native city of Akron, Ohio. Just three years into his teens, LeBron towered over his contemporaries at 6'5. He would go on to lead his high school basketball team to three state championships in four years. Fast forward to the present day, where LeBron's oldest son, Bronny, is currently ranked 43rd overall amongst high school basketball recruits that will be eligible for college play next year. At 6'3, Bronny has already landed on the radar of NBA scouts, but it's his baby brother, Bryce, who has suddenly emerged as a basketball player that many have already touted as a future star in the game. At 6'6, Bryce just finished his freshman year at Sierra Canyon high school, and he's already taller than his father and his older brother when they were 15 years old. According to reports, Bryce is also currently being recruited by the basketball coaches at Duke Unversity.
A video clip of Bryce's highlights from an AAU game that took place in Las Vegas over the weekend recently went viral. While the young small forward doesn't appear to have the explosiveness of his father, his game seems to be much more reliant on footwork, post moves, and mid-range jumpers. The video depicts the young phenom sporting a pair of goggles along with his father's current jersey number #6 as he backs down a defender in the post before nailing a series of turnaround jumpers and finger rolls.
