Delonte West has been spotted over the years, with many making a push to help the former NBA player. West has dealt with addiction and mental illness, and now he has revealed he’s still dealing with similar issues despite people attempting to help him.
A YouTuber named Shiakuro interviewed the former NBA player, saying, “You're really Delonte West. I used to play 2K with you for so many years.” West was seen offering the man a bite of his food, but the man declined and offered to get food for West.
Delonte West then spoke candidly about Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban sending him to a rehabilitation facility to receive treatment for his mental illness. West completed the program but noted, “I'm just losing my thoughts, man. Sometimes I forget I even played basketball.” West, who is also dealing with the early stages of Multiple Sclerosis, said, “God knows what he's doing... If any other thing would have happened differently, then me and you wouldn't be sitting here talking.” Watch above.
