In recent weeks, DaBaby has been surrounded by controversy. From a home intruder being shot by the rapper on his North Carolina property, to footage from his 2018 shooting at Walmart, DaBaby's name has been headlining over various controversies. The "Suge" rapper also appeared to swing on his new artist, Wisdom, backstage at Spring Jam 2022 in Columbia, SC over the weekend.

Now, DaBaby appears to be hitting back at the controversy, with some people believing he's directly addressing his 2018 shooting, which left 19-year-old Jaylin Craig dead. DaBaby claimed self-defense in the incident, but the footage had some people on social media questioning his claims.

On Sunday (April 24), DaBaby took to social media to address the controversy, as he shared a viral video of Tyrese crying during his 2017 custody battle. He added, "No disrespect to my boy Tyrese man but what y'all n***as got going on bruh?? Somebody behind the scenes on my ass ain't it."

DaBaby continued to share his thoughts in an Instagram Stories post, where he wrote, "Like damn bruh. N***as done took 30 million from me, lie on me once a week, want my fine ass BM's to hate me, want me to lose fights I don't start, WHAT MORE DO U WANT FROM MEEE?"

Funk Flex shared his thoughts on the situation, and he believes people are wanting to take DaBaby down because of his success, as he wrote, "You sell records and your stage show cranking... You put on for your artists... Some people/music insiders was getting threatened! #JustMyOpinion."
