Former NFL wide-receiver Demaryius Thomas tragically passed away three months ago after he went into cardiac arrest in the shower. Following the news, TMZ reports that a group of people connected to Thomas broke into his home and stole various items, including a hyperbaric chamber, footballs, and an autographed Tom Brady jersey.
Police arrested 29-year-old Vashone Jones, 27-year-old Perfect Robinson, and 30-year-old Malcolm Daniels, who were all charged with criminal trespassing. Jones reportedly told police that "he used to live at the home and helped Thomas with his medical issues," adding that he still visited Thomas' home on the weekends to check on it.
Demaryius' mother spoke to 95.5 WSB about the incident, and she stated that the locks have been changed since his passing. Police say that a "theft investigation is still active and ongoing."
