According to reports, former NFL star with the Denver Broncos, Demaryius Thomas, is dead at 33. Atlanta Falcons producer Miles Garrett confirmed the news after contacting Thomas's former position coach and mentor during his time at West Laurens High School in Dexter, GA.
Thomas passed away at his home in Roswell, GA. From initial reports, Thomas's death seemingly stems from a medical issue, and foul play was not a factor.
Demaryius Thomas was a Pro Bowl wide receiver from 2012-2016 as a member of the Broncos and was a member of Denver's 2016 Super Bowl championship team. Following his tenure with the Broncos, Thomas played for the Houston Texans and New York Jets and a short stint with the New England Patriots. He announced his retirement from the NFL this past summer.
