NCAA swimmer Lia Thomas has become one of the prime examples in the ongoing debate about whether or not transgender athletes, who have transitioned, should be allowed to compete against biological women. After all, the swimmer from Penn State has become so dominant in her sport that she has already broken several NCAA records. But not everyone supports the way in which Lia Thomas has blazed a trail for the LGBTQ+ community.
Former Olympic athlete and transgender celebrity Caitlyn Jenner has been quite staunch in her disapproval of Lia Thomas' dominant run in women's sports, stating that her eligibility is simply unfair to biological women in the spirit of competition. The criticism of Lia Thomas certainly has not been limited to her competitors or former athletes from her own community. Today, Boosie Badazz took to his Twitter account to make it known that he was also joining the opposition.
"Cheater!! He needs to leaave lol," Boosie wrote alongside a post that claimed Thomas ranked 462 as a male swimmer but is the top swimmer in female competition.
His comments about Lia Thomas do not come as a surprise because the Baton Rouge native has also voiced his displeasure with Lil Nas X and Dwayne Wade's daughter, Zaya, for the way in which they identify themselves.
