CNN's Don Lemon reacted to Jussie Smollett being found guilty of five of six counts of felony disorderly conduct for filing a false police report on Thursday (December 9).
While speaking with legal analyst Joey Jackson, Lemon stated that Smollett had "to make up too many lies" to back his claims that he was attacked in a racist and homophobic-fueled incident. Lemon added, 'I guess he got caught up in that because he took the stand himself. He got angry with the prosecutor as the prosecutor poked holes in his story, calling the only other witnesses liars."
This comes amid Smollett testifying in the case and stating that the CNN host tipped him off about the Chicago Police planning to investigate him. Lemon has yet to address Smollett's claims.
