Fans have been anticipating an album from Bobby Shmurda since he was released from prison earlier this year, and while he's released several singles, an official album announcement has yet to be made.

In October, Bobby told fans that his upcoming album was being mixed, which has led to more questions about when the project will drop. Bobby seemingly addressed the flurry of questions on Wednesday (December 1) in a since-deleted Instagram post, where he wrote, "I ain't been in charge of my music since I was 19 years old and I just turned 27 and honestly idk when sh*t dropping so don't ask me sh*t go ask them mf's since they wanna control everything!!!!!!!"

This comes after DJ Akademiks questioned Bobby about possibly wanting to leave his situation at Epic and sign with Roc Nation, where he has a management deal. Akademiks told Bobby that he believes Epic will "crash" his project to see him "go out sad," to which Bobby responded, telling Akademiks that Epic isn't trying to slow down his projects.
