Bobby Shmurda recently sat down with DJ Akademiks on his "Off the Record" podcast, where Akademiks asked him about his label situation.
Bobby explained that he was signed to Epic Records, and he added that he has a management deal with Roc Nation. When Akademiks asked if he wanted to leave Epic and sign with Roc Nation, Bobby seemingly avoided the situation, as he told Akademiks that he and the people at Epic were just getting to know one another.
Akademiks then pressed the subject further by telling Bobby that he doesn't want to be at Epic anymore, adding that he's in a messed up situation. Akademiks then told Bobby that he believes Epic will "crash" his project to see him "go out sad." Bobby then told Akademiks that Epic isn't slowing down his project, and he reiterated that they're getting to know one another.
