Like everyone else, Jay-Z had an opinion about Kanye West's recent interview on Drink Champs. Hov said he wasn't too concerned about the things Kanye said because people are entitled to their views, including Ye. But he did take issue with Kanye coming for fellow producer Just Blaze.
Jay said that Kanye's comments about Just Blaze copying him for choosing to flip Soul samples for The Blueprint were "unfair." Hov said the assignment for them both was to bring in Soul samples to make the project cohesive. He also said that everyone should be proud of what they accomplished with The Blueprint, and that ought to be the focus.
