Kodak Black made headlines recently after it was reported the Florida rapper violated his probation by failing a drug test. The drug test is a part of the terms of his probation for his federal gun case, and as a result of failing, the rapper was ordered to get treatment. Now, doctors for the rapper feel it would be beneficial for him to spend the last 30 days of his drug treatment in a facility outside of Florida.

Legal documents that surfaced found the physician and treatment specialist for the rapper asking for permission to allow the rapper to spend time in a program outside of the state, at a residential treatment facility. Kodak Black’s team stood behind the notion, saying his success in completing the program will come if he is in a different environment for some time. The rapper’s attorney Bradford Cohen said they would be happy to move Kodak Black to a different state if and when probation agrees to the request.

News of this follows tweets Kodak posted before deleting his social media profiles altogether. One of the tweets found the rapper saying, “Sitting in my room crying feel like killing myself.” Stay tuned for more updates.
