In 2020, an Ohio nightclub was cited with numerous COVID-19 violations after they held a Trey Songz concert that reportedly didn’t feature any social distance protocols and also hosted almost 500 people. Now, another event tied to Trey Songz has been shut down due to COVID-19 concerns.

According to reports, Trey Songz and Fabulous were set to have an event in Houston called “The Black Affair” at Club Spire. However, the event reportedly was packed with so many people that numerous fire exits were blocked. Along with that, almost 200 people were outside of the venue waiting to get in. As a result, a Fire Chief on the scene named Samuel Pena noted that the club was given a chance to re-open for the night within guidelines, a decision that was ultimately shut down.

Pena went on to say, “If there was an emergency, a fire or something that would have occurred inside, we would have had a massive loss of life because the means of entry.” Take a look above.
