The aftermath of the riot that took place at the U.S. Capitol over a week ago is still being felt, and authorities are still rounding up people who were present at the insurrection. Now, an activist from Utah named John Sullivan was recently arrested for his role in the Capitol riots.

Sullivan is reportedly part of a group called Insurgence USA, a group that focuses on racial justice and police reform. According to reports, the 26-year-old shared a video of himself inside the Capitol building after Trump supporters rushed past security. Documents noted that Sullivan was seen outside of the Capitol building telling a crowd of people, “we about to burn this s**t down, we got to rip Trump out of office... f**king pull him out of that s**t… we ain’t waiting until the next election... we about to go get that motherf**ker.”

Sullivan claimed he was present at the riots to “watch history” as a journalist but didn’t have any press credentials. As a result, he was arrested in Provo, Utah, and charged with one count of knowingly entering in any restricted building without lawful authority, one count of violent entry on Capitola grounds, and one count of interfering with law enforcement officials engaged in lawful performance of their official duties during civil disorder.
