The man who was seen sitting at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's desk after MAGA supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol has been arrested and charged in Arkansas.

Richard Barnett was arrested and hit with multiple federal charges. He was arrested in Little Rock and charged with knowingly entering and remaining in restricted building grounds without authority, violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, and theft of public property.

In social media posts, Barnett had criticized Pelosi and stated he was prepared to die for his cause.

The FBI and other federal agencies have announced that they're "not sparing any resources" in tracking down those involved in Wednesday's insurrection.

"Just because you've left the DC region, you can still expect a knock on the door if we find out you were part of the criminal activity at the Capitol," said Steven D’Antuono, Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI's Washington field office.
