Following the release of stills from the highly anticipated film Coming 2 America, an official teaser trailer was released on Tuesday (December 22).
The trailer begins with King Jaffe Joffer (James Earl Jones) telling his son Prince Akeem (Eddie Murphy) know that he's set to become King of Zamunda. However, the title of Prince must be passed to a male heir, which is a son that Prince Akeem didn't know he had back in America. From there, Prince Akeem and Semmi (Arsenio Hall) travel back to New York to bring Akeem's son (Jermaine Fowler) back to Zamunda.
The trailer also shows clips of Shari Headley (who plays Lisa, Akeem's wife), Teyana Taylor, and Wesley Snipes. Check it out in full above.
