The first look at the highly anticipated movie "Coming 2 America" have been revealed, showing Eddie Murphy reprising his role as Prince Akeem. The film will be directed by Craig Brewer (Dolemite is My Name) from a script by Kenya Barris, Barry W. Blaustein, and David Sheffield.
Eddie will star alongside Arsenio Hall, Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, KiKi Layne, Shari Headley, Wesley Snipes, and James Earl Jones. VladTV frequent guest Luenell also revealed that she will be starring in the upcoming film, and while she didn't reveal too much information, she stated that she loved working with Eddie. The plot of the movie centers around Prince Akeem's journey to becoming king when he learns that he fathered a son (Jermaine Fowler) with a woman (Leslie Jones), and he has to return to Queens. The movie will be released on March 5, 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.
