Update 11/21/2020 4:32pm:

Jeezy has been speaking about the release of his album, along with the heated ‘Verzuz’ where he faced off against Gucci Mane. The rapper spoke to Hot 97 about being on stage with Gucci, saying that everything is good between him and Guwop. However, when asked about Freddie Gibbs and if he’s seen what the rapper has been saying, Jeezy had a completely different outlook.

Jeezy said, “Nah, bro. I got too many things to do. And if I go see my therapist, you know, I’m not going to care to hear what he says after my session. And basically, the world was my therapist. I went in, and I said what I said. I wrote down what I wrote down and that’s to get it out of my head in that closet and I was done with it.”

He continued on saying, “I’m good. I’m not worried bout nothin’. And for me, that’s my opinion. That’s what’s in my heart—ain’t nobody going to tell me different. I felt like I said enough in the song to not have to talk about it after so for me, I ain’t got nothin’ else to say. Straight up.” Watch above around the 14:30 mark.

Jeezy made headlines earlier this week for reasons unrelated to his upcoming Verzuz battle against Gucci Mane when he dissed Freddie Gibbs and 50 Cent on his new track, "Therapy for My Soul."

The Atlanta rapper dropped by The Angie Martinez Show to discuss the Verzuz battle and his new album, The Recession 2. While Freddie Gibbs and 50 Cent have both responded to "Therapy for My Soul," Jeezy explained why he called out them out on the song.

"I feel like I said what I said because I do understand people gonna ask questions but that's my business," Jeezy said 3:45 into the interview. "That's how I feel—my opinion is my opinion. Someone don't like it, they gotta figure it out. But a lot of that stuff was weighing heavy 'cause it's just been like decades of speculation and you're like damn, that didn't really happen like that. It's real s*** to me 'cause it's real life, and when your reputation and your credibility is questioned and you kept it solid, you got to really wonder who's real."
