King Von's manager, Jameson Francois, detailed the moments surrounding the Chicago rapper's death and responded to comments made by Von's ex-girlfriend Asian Doll during his interview with DJ Akademiks. While the majority of the interview was focused on Von's passing, Francois disclosed the late rapper's business affairs and how much unreleased music is recorded.
Francois highlighted Von's work ethic and said there's already two albums worth of material already recorded. He also added that King Von owned all of his masters and publishing, so his children and family will be taken care of.
"As a team, our number one focus is to make sure that his immediate family is taken care of," Francois said. "His mom. You know, his sisters, his brothers. Von had two kids. Just making sure they got a trust. Trust funds. Whatever income."
The manager added that Von was never officially signed to anyone and that his deals with EMPIRE were just "commitment projects."
"He owns all his masters. He wasn't an artist that sold his publishing. So, everything belongs to him," he said. "It's a blessing from God because his kids and his family will be good for the rest of they life."
