DaBoii described applying for various after high school and finally landing one at KFC. DaBoii explained that once he got his friend a job at the fast-food restaurant and she was promoted to a higher position, he began to not take the job seriously. The rapper decided to quit and pursue rapping once he started receiving positive feedback from people who weren't friends or family.
DaBoii said quitting his job paid off within a few months before explaining how he knew his former group members before they all formed SOB x RBE. He added that once they all came together, success started coming quickly because "everybody was bringing something to the table so it was easier to get eyes." DaBoii explained that since the group's broken up, he's realized how hard it is being a solo artist.
