Recently, Eddie Murphy won his first Emmy ever for his appearance on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ and delivered an acceptance speech speaking on how fortunate he was to receive the award after being nominated many times. Comedian Dave Chappelle won an Emmy as well, and his acceptance speech was a bit more at the necks of critics who called out his “Sticks & Stones” special, which he won two Emmys for.
Chappelle said “Boy, comes as a complete surprise. I mean, I read all the reviews and they said so many terrible things. They were embarrassed for me. I lost my way. It wasn't even worth watching," he continued. "I hope all you critics learn from this. This is a teachable moment -- shut the f**k up forever!" Watch above.
