Lakers forward LeBron James finished second in this year's regular-season MVP race behind the back-to-back winner, Giannis Antetokounmpo. But LeBron didn't mince words when asked how he truly felt about this year's results.

"Pissed me off," said James. He took particular issue with the award voters, as he continued: "That’s my true answer. It pissed me off because out of 101 votes; I got 16 first-place votes. That’s what pissed me off more than anything." He added, "Let’s not get it twisted. I’m great. The voting scale is a little weird for me sometimes."

Many NBA fans took issue with Giannis claiming the award this year, making him only the third player to ever win Most Valuable Player and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. However, LeBron has his eyes set on winning his fourth ring and fourth Finals MVP while Giannis is back in Athens, Greece after his Milwaukee Bucks were eliminated by the Miami Heat.
