Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo won his second straight NBA MVP award. The four-time NBA All-Star joins Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Steve Nash, Tim Duncan, Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Moses Malone, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Wilt Chamberlain, and Bill Russell as back-to-back MVPs.
Antetokounmpo also joins Michael Jordan and Hakeem Olajuwon as the only players to win the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year awards in the same season.
The Greek Freak averaged 29.5 points, 13.6 rebounds, and 5.6 assists during the 2019-2020 NBA season. The official announcement is set for 2 p.m. ET.
