Following the Los Angeles Clippers' playoff collapse, stories regarding the team's chemistry have started to circulate. According to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes, Paul George and Montrezl Harrell had a "heated" argument during Game 2 of their Western Conference semifinals matchup against the Denver Nuggets.

During a timeout in the second quarter, Harrell was allegedly upset that George committed two turnovers in less than a minute. When Harrell approached his teammate about his risky passes, PG reportedly dismissed Harrell's words and shifted blame to the 2020 NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

"You’re always right. Nobody can tell you nothing," Harrell allegedly said to PG before both of them started cursing at each other.

According to Haynes, George calmed down but Harrell was still heated.

"Teammates began clapping on the sideline, in part to disguise what was going on and in an attempt to defuse the situation," Haynes' story read. "The incident deescalated shortly after as coach Doc Rivers took his seat to go over the game plan."

Signs that the team were not on the same page were also apparent during the post-game press conferences when Paul George was the only teammate to say the 2019-2020 NBA season wasn't a "championship or bust year."

During Lou Williams' post-game interview, the Clippers guard said, "A lot of the issues we ran into, talent bailed us out. Chemistry didn’t."
