Previously, reports surfaced, noting a man was shot by Chicago police while trying to flee. The man allegedly shot at police, which caused police to fire back. However, no body camera footage has been released, and many residents in the city are outraged over the incident. Because of that, many took to the streets to protest. Now, video footage of an incident involving police officers and protesters has surfaced, with one police officer being hit hard in the face with an object after tensions rose in the street.
In the footage, protesters can be seen going back and forth with police, who are trying to back the crowd off. However, police began to chase protesters after a massive object flew into one of the officer’s faces. Watch above.
