Ice Cube sent out a message to fans on his personal YouTube page, stating that he wanted to address people who are saying that he's on one these days. Cube explained, "I've been on one my whole career. This ain't nothing new. I feel like I've been ahead of the curve and people need to catch up."
Cube went on to state that Black people need to "use our vote as a tool" to get what they want, and he added that it doesn't matter which party it comes from as long as there is a change for the Black community. He also stated that the time to act is now, and that he doesn't want to wait for his kids or grandkids to start the change.
