According to reports, Aaron “Bat” Young—a co-defendant in the Tekashi 6ix9ine case pleaded guilty to being a part of the racketeering case, and now news surfaced that Young was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Young’s attorney issued a statement on the sentence, saying he pushed for a lighter sentence for Young, noting he is a “parental role in the lives of kids.” The lawyer also said Young has “a possibility of real rehabilitation and self-reflection."

The judge still issued the 20-year sentence, bringing up the fact that Young shot another person named Shane “Snow Billy” Hardy.
