The NBA has widely been recognized as the most progressive professional sports league in America. Players, executives, and coaches throughout the league are not shy to opine on the sociopolitical landscape. Despite the league running into its share of controversy following the Daryl Morey x LeBron James situation, one NBA owner supports players being vocal.

Charlotte Hornets owner Michael Jordan spoke in a recent interview about how "it's great" that players use their platform to inspire change and spark activism. Despite his support for players being vessels of change today, Jordan wasn't the most politically outspoken player during his time. When asked if he wished he'd been more vocal about issues during his playing days, MJ says he doesn't look back despite what the reason may be.

Jordan declined to discuss the situation with China.
