The news might be slowly getting better for 21 Savage, as now only a few days after he's been released from ICE custody, it's been reported that the Department of Homeland Security is no longer pursuing an aggravated felony charge against him. It was noted earlier that ICE had cited 21's prior drug conviction in 2014 as their reason for deportation, yet upon his lawyers pointing out that the conviction was vacated last year, the aggravated felony charge has been dropped altogether.

Meanwhile, TMZ has reported that the vacated conviction should have allowed 21 to be released on bond the same day as his arrest, while emphasizing that ICE had no reason to detain him for as long as they did.

Now, 21's attorneys believe that the case will entirely revolve around his expired Visa, which may turn out to be a symbolic case during a time where the President has led a crusade against illegal immigration.
