As rumors and controversy continue to swirl around who's going to perform at Super Bowl LIII, Cardi B has apparently removed her name from consideration due to the circumstances revolving around Colin Kaepernick.

DIsmissing the notion that her reason was over a performance fee of a million dollars, a rep recently clarified her position to Page Six, highlighting the cause of social justice as to why Cardi is walking away from the world's biggest stage.

“The rumor circulating that she wants a million dollars and her own set is false," the rep said in a statement,  "there was never a firm offer to begin with for a performance, there [were] talks about it, but she was not particularly interested in participating because of how she feels about Colin Kaepernick and the whole movement.”

The Super Bowl is set for February 3rd in Atlanta, and as of now, Travis Scott remains on the set-list alongside Maroon 5.
