Travis Scott has agreed to perform at the Super Bowl this February alongside Maroon 5 but the move has raised eyebrows within the hip-hop community. After artists such as Rihanna and JAY-Z declined the opportunity in an act of solidarity with Colin Kaepernick, Travis agreeing to perform has rubbed some artists the wrong way. Meek Mill notably questioned the move earlier today simply asking, "For what???"
Variety is reporting that JAY-Z is currently attempting to dissuade Travis from performing. The publication reports that two sources have confirmed Hov's plan to talk Travis out of performing but noted that Jay's reps have declined to comment on the matter.
