As if Kanye West's "slavery was a choice" comment wasn't disturbing enough to hear the first time around, now his wife Kim Kardashian has revived the controversial quote to explain it's full meaning.
"Kanye never said that," Kim explains in a new episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, "That was just the headline... What he said was slavery was 400 years, and if it's going to be another 400 years, that sounds like a choice to me."
Kim went on to say she always knows what Kanye's intentions are and that his comment was simply misinterpreted, yet she also describes his somewhat manic state that at times causes him to act out of control. Interestingly enough, Kim explains that Kanye feels empowered by those moments of hysteria, surmising that "Yeah I say crazy s**t, but I always say crazy s**t, and that's why I'm Kanye."
