After news broke of A$AP Bari's rape case getting dismissed, the A$AP Mob co-founder is now taking his accuser to court. According to TMZ, Bari is suing the woman for defamation and civil extortion after spreading lies about the assault.

Bari and his legal team pointed out that the woman only began claiming she was sexually assaulted after lawyering up. It was also noted that she explicitly told police in London that she hadn't been sexually assaulted and was only concerned about a potential nude video of her leaking online. That video did hit the internet but Bari said a third party took that video unbeknownst to him. The woman was initially suing A$AP Bari for $1 million.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office announced this past Friday (August 10) that A$AP Bari’s rape case was dismissed because the alleged victim in the situation did not want to proceed with the investigation.

A video of Bari allegedly sexually assaulting a woman in a London hotel room surfaced, and ended up being pretty wide-spread, which led to the designer being dropped from many projects he was involved in as a result. Previously, Bari addressed the situation by saying “A misleading video clip featuring adult content and activity has been released to the public without my knowledge or consent. Comments about myself or anyone being detained or arrested are false. We have resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults. We were friends before this and will remain friends afterwards. Being raised by strong women who taught me to respect everyone, I’m disappointed in the situation as well as myself and will reflect on the situation appropriately.”

An incident from over the summer where A$AP Bari roused a naked woman from a hotel bed and demanded she have sex with him has come back to haunt the Harlem rapper in a big way.

Bari, real name Jabari Shelton, is being sued for sexual assault by the woman in the video.

The woman, who filed the lawsuit anonymously as Jane Doe, says the incident went down July 9 at a London hotel where some members of the Mob were staying. According to the suit, Bari entered the room where the woman was sleeping and said to her, "You f**ked my assistant, now you are going to f**k me."

Bari next pulled the sheets off the woman to expose her naked body as she screamed no. She claims both Bari and his friend were filming the encounter on their cell phones.

As many will recall, the video shot by the friend briefly went viral and seems to strongly corroborate the woman's accusations.

The woman says she attempted to escape to the bathroom while Bari hounded her, saying "I'm going to f**k you, you are going to suck my d**k." She says she was terrified she was going to be raped. Instead, Bari eventually threw her out into the hotel hallway, completely naked.

She goes on to claim in the suit that she alerted hotel security and asked them to call the police, who after arriving deleted the video of the incident from Bari's phone.

Jane Doe is suing Bari for over $1 million.
