Boosie shared his thoughts on Kim Kardashian meeting with Donald Trump on prison reform, explaining that he thinks that the move was something “positive” for those unjustly incarcerated.

Speaking with TMZ Tuesday, Boosie stated his belief that Kardashian’s meeting is an excellent step forward.

“I think its positive that Kim K & Kanye are doing something people in prison because so many people forgot em in prison, but I think that's a positive thing,” Boosie explained. “If they want to be accepted in any kind of way, Kanye and Kim K, if y’all do penitentiary y’all got a heart. People gon' accept y’all for that."

Following the meeting, President Trump granted clemency to Alice Marie Johnson. The 63-year-old was serving a life sentence after being convicted for a first-time nonviolent drug offense. However, many questioned whether the president was sincere with his decision and pondered if Trump was using Kardashian as a tool for political gain.

“I don’t think I would be used,” Kardashian told CNN’s Van Jones. “At the end of the day, he heard me out. We got the job done. What could he really use me for?”

When asked if he would take a meeting with Trump in an effort for prison reform, Boosie replied, “If anybody asked to do it, I would do it… if it’s a positive thing towards the prison movement, I would do it.”
