Back in February of 2018, merely two months ago, a rapper and American hip-hop recording artist Jim Jones shared an Instagram video in which he accused the staff at L.A. Fitness of racial profiling.

The footage was shot at the chain's Los Angeles location on S. Flower Street, where employees apparently refused to let Jones charge his phone on their computer, reports Complex Magazine.

One would hope that L.A. Fitness would make some amendments after that story came to life. Sadly, however, that was not the case. Yesterday, Jim Jones pointed out another racist incident at L.A. Fitness.

Jim's Instagram post read the following, "A couple months ago when I posted tht @lafitness were profiling y'all thought I was playin or tryin to b slick n manipulative because I'm always doin somethin crazy but I was serious and this is proof of how @lafitness profile people of color This is my proof these big cooperations r terrible when it comes to threaten people wit th respect they deserve no matter wht th color of skin and th funny thing is th manager is a minority it's looks like," he said in the video.

"So this must mean they are training. These employees to b this way inadvertently because why would this b happening so often and there is a lot more of these cases we just wanna work out look good live long they need to put people at th front desk who is in shape first off lol fuck em #VLfitness comin soon a gym who rewards u just for makin it to th gym because we know th struggle is real #VLfitness."

Perhaps L.A. fitness should take a notice from Starbucks, who will close 8,000 of the company's U.S.-based locations to train 175,000 employees and address implicit bias, promote inclusion and help prevent discrimination.
