Cardi B shared Saturday Night Live hosting duties with Black Panther lead man Chadwick Boseman on Saturday night, April 7, but it was the unborn presence of the Invasion Of Privacy rapper's offspring with Offset that stole the show.

After weeks of dodging speculation that the young hip-hop power couple might be expecting, all of the innuendo that has been stirred up by gossip columns was confirmed when Cardi walked out on stage to perform "Be Careful" in a white wedding dress that accentuated her protruding belly.

Prior to her performance of the new single, the Bronx superstar was able to hide the bulge by opening the show, doing her skits, and entertaining the audience with a "Bodak Yellow"/"Bartier Cardi" set, in less revealing clothing. Such has been life for Cardi in recent days, with various media outlets reporting on how her team has gone the lengths of surrounding her in public, in order to keep the news a secret for as long as possible.

A backstage recording that has made its way on to the internet shows the moment her camp received her to cheers after she shared the revelation with the world. “I’m finally free,” she says in the clip, before laughing her way into the dressing room that had been designated to her.

Offset would later address the good news on social media, tweeting, “Cardi and I look forward to our next chapter together.”
