Since O.J. Simpson exited prison at the end of last year, the world can’t contain their thirst for the Juice. He’s been seen out partying, was in a laser hair removal commercial and he was kicked out of a hotel in Vegas. Recently, he made waves after an interview from 2006 was published where he hypothetically recounted the murder of Nicole Brown-Simpson and Ron Goldman. He’s back in the news again, and this time he’s taking a stance against those who chose to kneel during the national anthem, particularly, Colin Kaepernick.

During a recent in-depth interview with Buffalo News, O.J. talked about life in and out of prison, his time playing football, and what the game looks like now. When discussing his current view of football and politics, O.J. said he would “probably not’ vote for Trump, but he did agree with Trump’s stance against people kneeling during the national anthem.

O.J. spoke about his fear of the KKK and how they made him have respect for the bible and that we shouldn’t use the flag as a vehicle to point out flaws in what police system.

"I grew up at a time when deacons were in the KKK. I don't disrespect the Bible because of those guys. The flag shouldn't be disrespected because of what cops do. The flag represents what we want America to be."

He believes Kaepernick was attempting to do the right thing but made mistakes along the way. "I think Colin made a mistake. "I really appreciate what he was trying to say. I thought he made a bad choice in attacking the flag."

OJ ends his comments on Kaepernick stating, "I'm a firm believer of doing what you think is right, but I would always stand for the flag."
