Kodak Black has been placed in solitary confinement after he had broken the “yard rules,” according to a report obtained by TMZ. The rapper used a prison phone to call someone he was not supposed to be communicating with. He will now have to spend 30 days alone for that violation.

The rapper has been in a Florida jail since January of this year after police raided his home and obtained some heavily charged evidence. They were reportedly alarmed by some disconcerting social media posts, one of them showing his young son playing near guns.

Kodak is facing felony charges of theft, firearm possession, drug possession, and violation of probation. His attorney stated that “police had tampered with evidence during the visit."

The rapper also filed legal documentation requesting from the judge permission to have a GED tutor in his confinement. He also asked for access to his laptop so he can study for his GED. The judge has yet to rule on the matter.

Meanwhile, Kodak's former neighbors from the upscale neighborhood he used to have a lease over for a year, expressed their relief at the fact that he is no longer residing there. They claim he caused a disturbance in the area.
