There's just something about Isaiah Thomas' energy that causes tension everywhere he goes. IT is on his fifth NBA team in seven years. The Los Angeles Laker got into a verbal confrontation with teammate Julius Randle on Wednesday night, forcing other teammates to jump in and separate the two.

During a TV timeout, ESPN’s cameras caught Thomas and Randle arguing before Brook Lopez steps in-between the two and splits them up. Lonzo Ball also steps in and pushes Randle away from the confrontation. Moments later, Thomas and Randle were seen talking it out on the bench. The two Lakers even shook hands. The argument occurred while the Lakers were trailing the Warriors 89-82 heading into the fourth quarter.

The Lakers played the defending champion Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night. Lakers lost 117-106. Thomas scored 20 points and added seven assists to his first start as a Laker. Kyle Kuzma sprained his ankle against the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday. Brandon Ingram is out with a strained groin, while Josh Hart is out with a fractured fourth left metacarpal, prompting Thomas to get his first start since being traded to the Lakers from the Cavaliers. The reason for the argument has not been disclosed.
