Coming from where he does in Atlanta and attaining some form of success 21 Savage understands the importance of financial literacy. Just last week, the rapper announced that he would stop wearing gaudy jewelry to set an example about valuable purchases to his young fans.

21 Savage wants to do more for the community by sharing the knowledge he has about economics. Tuesday morning (Mar. 13), 21 Savage appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. After performing his hit single "Bank Account", 21 announced that he would be starting a campaign named after the big hit.

He revealed that the campaign would "help kids learn how to save their money, and make money [and] to open up bank accounts for kids." Sticking to the number in his rapper moniker, he also donated $21,000 to 21 teenagers so that each could start participating in the campaign with $1,000 a piece. This isn't the first initiative Savage took to educate children about money. He partnered with Get Schooled to teach kids the difference between debit and credit cards.

Watch the performance and announcement in the clip above. 21 Savage will be touring North America with Post Malone and SOB x RBE. The first show is in Portland, Oregon on April 26.
