21 Savage is taking his financial literacy more serious. It has just been announced that the rapper will stop splurging on jewelry.

Meezy, 21's manager, announced on Twitter that the Atlanta rapper would no longer accessorize by wearing expensive and gaudy jewelry in an attempt to be wiser with his newfound cash flow. Instead, the 25-year-old will buy real estate, invest in businesses and cryptocurrency. The "Bank Account" rapper hopes that this move will inspire financial literacy in his younger fans.

"21 Savage no longer wears jewelry," his manager announced in a series of posts on Twitter. "Buying houses .. investing in businesses .... crypto & youth startups is what he wanna make cool for young rappers to do. Lead by example."

Many fans including younger ones are praising 21 for the gesture. It is being compared to JAY-Z's messaging on 4:44 about ownership, credit, and generational wealth. Many of 21's peers are currently splurging on cars, high fashion items, and custom jewelry things which depreciate in value over time. We have seen rappers like Ralo and Blac Youngsta speak about spending money on real estate. Hopefully, Savage helps everyone to switch gears a bit.

21 Savage will be going on tour with Post Malone. The first tour stop will be in April at Coachella.
