According to TMZ, Too Short won't be facing any criminal charges stemming from accusations made against the rap legend by a woman named Teena Louis. A lawsuit was levied against Too Short by Louis in October claiming she was assaulted during multiple encounters dating back to June 2016. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office rejected the case on grounds of insufficient evidence showing their sexual interaction wasn't consensual.

Oakland rapper Too Short is claiming that he has text messages that reveal he had consensual sex with his rape accuser, Teana Louis, according to TMZ.

Teana Louis, a Los Angeles woman, filed claims in January of this year that state Too Short sexually assaulted her.

The woman explains that she met the rapper in 2015 when she began a business relationship with the “Blow the Whistle” hitmaker. The pair recorded a song together in April of 2016. Louis states that in June 2017, in a hotel in Downtown L.A., Too Short threw the woman onto a hotel bed against her will, and began performing oral sex on her, despite her pleading him to stop. The woman alleges that this happened multiple times, in various recording studios and hotel rooms.

In the lawsuit, the woman also claims the rapper penetrated her and sodomized her, describing the attack as “brutal” and stating that she was left bleeding afterward.

Now, Too Short is coming forward with text messages that he believes prove that the sexual encounters were consensual. In the text messages, Louis calls herself his “wife”, and tells Short she loves him. Other text messages refer to Short’s private parts, and reveal that Louis “sexually pursued the rapper.”

Rob Reichmann and Sean Macias are representing Too Short in the case.
