Too $hort was sued in January for sexual battery, sexual harassment, gender violence, gender discrimination, and false imprisonment by Teana Louis.

The "Blow The Whistle" rapper immediately denied the allegations and said it was a "blatant outright extortion" by his accuser, he planned to countersue her. Too Short previously spoke on the outpouring of sexual misconduct accusations saying, "the art of trying to f**k is over."

According to TMZ, Louis reportedly feels that Too Short's response to the situation was an attempt to discredit her and was his attempt to "further her victimization." Now, she has returned to court to file additional documents for defamation in her original assault case.

The documents reference comments Too $hort made in a TMZ video on January 22nd. In the short clip, the rapper says, "It can only be extortion. It's not anything else. They want money. For a while there, I thought it was something other, but now I know for a fact it's all about money. So my only choice is to countersue for slander and get a restraining order and anything else to just get this out of my life."

Too Short was also accused of sexual assault when a round of separate allegations made their way to the media in March 2017.
