Earlier this week it was reported that Nelly is being investigated for sexual assault in England after he allegedly attempted to force a fan to perform oral sex on him after a show.
According to the police report, the incident occurred Dec. 5 after the rapper had a show in Essex. A fan requested to take a picture with Nelly, who allegedly asked her and her friends to accompany him back to his dressing room. Once there the St. Louis rhymer allegedly asked her to follow him into a connecting room where he began masturbating in front of her and forced her mouth down onto his penis. The fan says she ran from the room as he called her a "c**t."
Soon after, Nelly's attorney issued a statement to TMZ denying the incident went down as described. The attorney pointed out that the rapper had his girlfriend at his side during the tour.
"The fact that the police are investigating these claims is not new information and Nelly welcomes a thorough investigation. Nelly is confident that once investigated, these claims will be determined to be disingenuous," said attorney Scott Rosenblum.
"Nelly was accompanied by his girlfriend during this tour and she was at his side throughout," he added. "It is important that police investigate every allegation of this nature."
On Wednesday TMZ caught up with the rapper and asked him point-blank if the allegations were true.
"I'm gonna respond [to the allegations] how I've always responded from day one...I'm innocent."
