NBA star Dwayne Wade is making one fan very happy this week. On Tuesday, February 13, Bleacher Report reported that Wade will be giving one fan a free ticket to see him play on the Miami Heat team.

Dwayne Wade was traded from the Cleveland Cavaliers, rather unexpectedly, to the Miami Heat on February 8, 2018. The fan, Nick Houston, had purchased tickets for the Cavaliers vs. Oklahoma City Thunder (set for Tuesday, February 13 in Oklahoma) match-up before Wade was traded. So, when the fan attended the game, he brought along a sign that read, "Bought my ticket in November, drove 455 miles to see D-Wade play...Heat ticket?"

While the Cavaliers did win 120-112, the fan, who claims to be a “lifelong” Dwayne Wade fan (according to his Twitter bio), was very upset. The three-time NBA champion noticed, and wrote, “If Someone can track this guy down. I’ll make sure he gets tickets to a game this season” in a Twitter post later Tuesday evening.

The 36-year-old shooting guard has played in the NBA for 15 seasons, starting his career with the Miami Heat, for whom he played until a trade in 2016 sent him to the Chicago Bulls.
