Dwyane Wade will return to the Miami Heat, according to ESPN. The announcement was made right before today's 3 p.m. deadline. Wade signed with the Cleveland Cavilers back in September.
Wade has a long history with The Heat, playing with the team for 13 seasons including three championships. Wade's friend and former teammate Lebron James sent him well wishes via social media saying: "Truly happy for my brother @dwyanewade!! It’s how it’s suppose to be. Love you my guy!! #WadeCountyBack"
Sources say that The Cavs also traded Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye to the Lakers in exchange for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance.
