TMZ got YG's say in the west side's issue with Cardi B.

Cardi found herself in hot water with the Crips last week with a just flick of a pic. The "Bloody Shoe" rocker was posted up in a lobby dressed in full Bardi-fashion. Sporting a full fur blue coat and Dolce and Gabbana sunglasses, the rapper set Instagram ablaze when she captioned it, "I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin."

Without a doubt, it didn't take long for followers to catch the shady comment. Cardi deleted the caption, but the damage was already done. Members of the Crips saw the caption and let it be known that there would undoubtedly be issues if she ever went to Los Angeles. She made sure to increase security seeing as how she had to be on the west coast for NBA-All Star weekend.

A TMZ reporter found YG out and about and asked if he thought dissing a notorious gang is a "smart move" in the industry. The California-based MC, in a way, answered the question telling him to look at his car, which glowed a red light underneath.

After a couple laughs, YG reassured saying, "Aye, the homegirl straight." Since the "Bicken Back Being Bool" rapper is a heavy influence on the west, it's good to know Cardi's got a heavy-hitter in her corner.
